There are four different types of scholarships:
1. Grade point average (GPA) scholarships are based on exceptional academic achievement.
2. Department nomination scholarships are for top students in a department.
3. Application scholarships have specific criteria and students apply online.
4. International scholarships are awarded by Selkirk International.
Eligibility
To qualify for a scholarship, you must be one of:
A Canadian or international student in a post-secondary semester program who completes the Fall and Winter terms maintaining a minimum 80% course load. Students with a documented disability must maintain a minimum 40% course load and be registered with Accessibility Services.
A student in a trades program who maintains a minimum 80% course load. Students with a documented disability must maintain a minimum 40% course load and be registered with Accessibility Services.
A student in Academic Upgrading.
