This bursary is for students who intend to travel overseas as part of their work placement module and is open to students from the BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science and BSc in Agriculture programmes.
Currently, the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) and Glanbia provide sponsorship of €1,000 to students from the BSc in Agriculture programme, while the ASA and Seedtech sponsor students from the BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science programme. Please note industry sponsors may change each year.
The successful students contribute articles to the Farmers Journal. News items will also feature in the local press from the students’ hometown.
