Overview
Established in 1945, the Norwich University of Arts is a creative arts university with over 180 years of history and a focus on 21st-century skills, holding a “Triple Gold” rating in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework in the categories of overall assessment, student experience, and student outcomes. It is located at the centre of the historic city of Norwich, with more than 2,700 full-time students enrolled.
Its city centre campus is dedicated to art, design and media. 13 unique historic buildings house hi-tech interiors, specialist workshops and expert technicians. University facilities give students the chance to develop essential skills from traditional craft and contemporary digital design to print and production techniques.

Norwich University of the Arts will help support you in every area upon your arrival in the UK. Dedicated support on visas, working in the UK, registering with a doctor and opening a bank account will be available, while Student Support can assist with your personal welfare. Free personal counselling is also available. Every international student is eligible to receive up to four hours of English language support for free, per week.

Accommodation
Norwich is one of the UK’s friendliest and most affordable cities, with a range of accommodation options for students to choose from to suit their needs. All international students are given priority for University accommodation.
Norwich University of the Arts offers six options for housing, so you will feel at home and well-catered for, whatever your budget – from the high-specification halls of residence at All Saints Green in the heart of Norwich to Beechcroft, just a short bus ride away. The university also work in collaboration with Crown Place and St Benedict’s Gate, which offers en-suite city centre accommodation to students.
