The Essex MBA Dean’s Award

Essex Business School is offering fee discounts between 10% and 100% of tuition fee value to students funding their own MBA studies starting in October 2025. The award will be offered in the form of a tuition fee discount.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

• Scholarships are restricted to students who are entirely self-funded.

• Students must register at the University of Essex in October 2025 for the full-time or part-time MBA, starting their first year of study in 2025-26.

• Scholarships are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must accept their scholarship offer within two weeks of receiving it.

• Only one scholarship award can be granted per student, and it cannot be combined with other University of Essex scholarships, including the Alumni Loyalty Discount.

• Award recipients will be expected to participate in promotional activities.

Students with repayable loans are considered self-funded. This includes tuition fee loans from:

• Student Finance England/Wales/Northern Ireland

• Student Awards Agency Scotland

• US Federal Direct Loans

• Norwegian State Loan (Lanekassen)

• Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN)

• Social Insurance Institution of Finland (KELA)

• Denmark State Educational Grant and Loan Scheme
