Key dates for 2025 UK university entry

Important UCAS Deadlines

Before beginning your application it is important to familiarise yourself with key UCAS deadlines. Some universities (Cambridge and Oxford) and courses (medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry) have much earlier deadlines and it is important you are fully aware of those which impact your application.

All UCAS deadlines for courses in the UK.

• October 15th – All courses at Cambridge and Oxford and most medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry courses at all other institutions
• January 29th – ‘Equal Consideration’ deadline for many UK universities
• June 30th – All other undergraduate courses for international students

Selected UK universities do allow international applications after certain deadlines though. If you have missed the application deadlines do not panic there are still ways to apply after the deadline, please speak to one of our consultants to find out more.

2025 Intake UK University Deadlines

All of the below deadlines are for students wishing to study for an undergraduate degree in the UK from September 2025.

October 15th, 2024

• Deadline for Cambridge and Oxford and most Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry courses.

January 29th, 2025

• Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses at high-ranked universities for equal consideration.

June 30, 2025

• Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses for international students.
• Applications received after June 30th are entered into UCAS Clearing.

July 5, 2025

• UCAS Clearing opens.

Postgraduate Degree Applications

Postgraduate degrees in the UK are open on a rolling basis so there is no set deadline for all postgraduate degree applications.
