IOE – Clarke Scholarships

The IOE is delighted to have received a donation from the family of our previous Director Sir Fred Clarke to provide scholarships for teachers from South Africa. 

These scholarships:

• are available for practising school teachers from South Africa who wish to undertake a masters’ programme at the UCL Institute of Education
• will cover return flights to London, course tuition fees, and a monthly stipend for accommodation and subsistence in London.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates should be:

• practicing school teachers
• nationals and residents in South Africa
• have an unconditional offer to study a campus based masters’ degree at the UCL Institute of Education
