The University of Otago, located in Dunedin on New Zealand’s South Island. Established in 1869, Otago has earned a global reputation for excellence in teaching and research, particularly in health sciences, humanities, and sciences. Services

The University of Otago provides a wide range of services tailored to support the academic, personal, and social wellbeing of international students. The International Office is the central point of contact for all international student support, offering assistance with visa guidance, enrolment, orientation, and academic advice.

The Student Learning Development team provides workshops and one-to-one support in academic writing, study strategies, and time management. Otago also offers dedicated health and counselling services, including culturally appropriate mental health support. Additionally, the Career Development Centre assists international students with CV writing, job search strategies, and understanding the New Zealand job market.
