Bath Academy is a private college and was founded in 1997. International students benefit from small class sizes and can choose to study GCSE, A-level or the renowned University Foundation and International Medical Foundation programmes.

Bath Academy University Foundation Programme

The University Foundation Programme has become one of the oldest and most well respected foundation courses in the UK, providing an entry level qualification for undergraduate study accepted by over 95 UK universities. The course is designed for international students who have completed high school and acts as a bridging and entry level course for those who wish to go on to undergraduate study at a UK university.

Unlike the two year A-Level course, the UFP is completed over one year and currently has two intakes: September – June or January – August of the same year. Both intakes, however, allow the student to apply to start university the following academic year. Over the last two years alone, alumni students have progressed on to studying a wide variety of competitive courses at universities such as Bristol, Manchester, LSE, SOAS, Imperial College London, University College London, City, Queen Mary and King’s College London.

International Medical Foundation Programme

The International Medical Foundation Programme is a 1-year programme specifically designed to provide students with the best possible grounding for application to Medical schools, including The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University of Central Lancashire and St. George’s University Grenada, West Indies.

Pre-A Level Course

Pre-A Level Course at Bath Academy prepares international students for the demands of A Level (Advanced Level) study. Students develop their English language, mathematical and academic skills needed to be successful in their A Level studies and future academic careers.
