The University of Southampton is proud to be a partner of the Saïd Foundation. If you are a student from Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine or Syria you may be able to apply for a Saïd Foundation scholarship to study with us.

About the Saïd Foundation

The Saïd Foundation aims to improve the lives of children and young people through education, skills development and community work, with a particular focus on the countries of Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and the UK.

Saïd Foundation scholarships

Said Foundation scholarships are fully funded awards for masters degree study at partner institutions in the UK. These awards provide educational and training opportunities for students and young professionals with leadership potential to help their career development, enable them to achieve impact in their professional fields and ultimately to bring benefits to others in their countries of origin.

The programme is open to Syrian, Lebanese, Jordanian or Palestinian students who are resident in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine or Israel (the Foundation may consider Syrians residing elsewhere on a case by case basis). Find out more about Saïd Foundation scholarships and the eligibility criteria.

Applications for 2020/21 Saïd Foundation Scholarships are now open.

To apply for a Saïd Foundation Scholarship you must complete an online application by 23.59 (UK time) on Friday 1 November 2019. Candidates will be asked to provide a number of supporting documents, including copies of university transcripts, three references and a copy of their valid passport so please have these ready before you apply.

For further details about the Saïd Foundation Scholarships, including the eligibility criteria and guidance on how to apply, do visit the Saïd Foundation website
