Our International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to international students starting an undergraduate course at ARU. There are two levels of award depending on the standard of your application.

Value

Lower award – up to £5,000

You will receive £2,000 in the first year and £1,000 in each of the subsequent years subject to eligibility, up to a maximum of three further years of study. To receive £2,000, we assess the overall standard of the application including entry qualifications.

To qualify for a further £1,000 in subsequent years you must have successfully completed the previous level and not be carrying forward any additional credits to the following academic year.

Higher award – up to £7,000

You will receive £4,000 in the first year and £1,000 in each of the subsequent years subject to eligibility, up to a maximum of three further years of study. To receive this award, your overall application standard must exceed minimum requirements including entry qualifications.

To qualify for a further £1,000 in subsequent years you must have successfully completed the previous level and not be carrying forward any additional credits to the following academic year.

To be eligible for consideration for our International Undergraduate Scholarship you must be:

  • an international student (international tuition fee payer).
