The UK International Scholarship will award Undergraduate students who join Northumbria at Level 4 (the first year of an Undergraduate degree) and those who join with advanced entry to Level 5 and Level 6 (top-up awards) a £3,000 tuition fee discount.

Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the Northumbria UK International Scholarship, you must:

  • Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ or ‘EU’ fee status

  • Be currently studying one of the following qualifications within the UK, at a UK based institution:

    • A Level 3 International Foundation Programme / Foundation Year / UK A-Level equivalent.

    • A Level 4 International Year One programme.

    • A Level 5 HND or Foundation Degree.

    • This will typically be UCAS tariff qualifications such as A-Levels, BTEC, Access.

  • Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship).

  • Be accepted on a Full-Time Undergraduate course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, in September 2025.

  • Meet all individual course requirements.
