University of Strathclyde EU Engagement Scholarships

The University of Strathclyde is a leading international technological university and we are proud to attract talented students from the European Union and around the world to study with us.
Since the UK left the EU, students from the European Union are no longer eligible to claim home fee status in relation to University tuition fees. At Strathclyde we recognise the additional financial implications for our current applicants from the EU. We are therefore delighted to announce our EU Engagement Scholarships to support full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students commencing taught courses in 2025. The scholarships will be available to those EU applicants who would have previously been eligible for Home (Scottish/EU) fee status but, because of Brexit, will now be classified as being eligible for international fee status.
EU Engagement Scholarships: Undergraduate Study
Our undergraduate scholarships will be awarded for each year of study for students who meet our eligibility criteria.
Undergraduate scholarships

£5,000 per year for Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences courses

£5,000 per year for Strathclyde Business School courses

£8,000 per year for Faculty of Engineering courses

£6,000 to £8,000 per year for Faculty of Science courses, depending on the subject area
EU Engagement Scholarships: Postgraduate Taught Courses
Our postgraduate scholarships will be awarded to those students who meet our eligibility criteria.
Postgraduate scholarships

£5,000 to £7,000 for Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences courses, dependent on subject area

£9,000 to 12,000 for Strathclyde Business School, dependent on subject area (excluding MBA)

£8,000 for Faculty of Engineering

£7,000 to £10,000 for Faculty of Science, dependent on subject area
