Loughborough University has been named the world’s best university to study sport (QS World University Rankings) for two years in a row now, but what makes it so special?
The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough has long been a leader in the UK with a long list of fantastic achievements (unbeaten British Universities and Colleges Sport champions for 37 years running, highest level of student sport volunteering in the country and famous alumni), but its reputation as an internationally recognised centre of excellence is now fully confirmed following its global awards. The QS world ranking is based on surveying academic staff that declares a speciality in the subject, and employers who seek to employ graduates that specialise in the discipline.
