The University is ranked 14th in the Complete University Guide 2019, in the top 200 universities in the world (Times Higher Education World Rankings 2015-18), and its teaching was recently voted Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework 2017-2020.

Located in 362 acres of parkland, just three miles from the beautiful and historic city of Norwich, the safe campus boasts award-winning accommodation, the Sainsbury’s Centre for Visual Arts; a state- of-the-art public art gallery and the largest indoor Sports complex of any UK university.

With international standards of excellence in teaching and research, outstanding facilities and comprehensive support, the University of East Anglia offers a truly unrivalled study experience.

Services

The International Student Advisory Team provides information, support and advice to all international students and their families throughout their time at the University of East Anglia.

A pre-departure guide issued by the accommodation team provides useful and practical details about obtaining a visa, travelling to Norwich and the campus. During arrival week, the Student Advice Team will organise orientation programmes, hold events and also offer the opportunity to apply for a UK buddy through the UEA Friends scheme in an effort to help settle into university life.

There is a programme of social events and trips throughout the year, and all international students are kept up to date with important news and advice through the International Student email list. The Advisory Team maintains close links with organisations such as the Home Office and the British Council to ensure that the concerns and needs of East Anglia's international student community are well represented.
