International Undergraduate Scholarships

Aimed at:

Undergraduate students from outside the UK, who will pay full overseas tuition fees.

Eligibility:

You must have been accepted onto a full-time taught bachelors degree course, starting in September 2025. You cannot combine this scholarship with any other financial support from Manchester Metropolitan.

Value:

£2,500 for each year of your degree.

Applicant and course eligibility criteria

• Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time, taught undergraduate degree programme at Manchester Metropolitan University and begin their studies in September 2025.

• Part-time programmes are eligible and the award. The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis in proportion to the tuition fees charged which means you will receive a proportion of the scholarship in each year of your course.

• The following programmes are eligible:

  • 3-year Bachelor’s degree

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated study abroad or placement year (Scholarship is not payable for the year spent on study abroad or placement)

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated foundation year programme

  • 4-year integrated Master’s degree

• Students with advanced standing and joining a degree programme at level 5 or 6 are eligible, providing all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.

• One-year top-up degree courses are eligible for the Scholarship, as long as all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.

• Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus, are eligible.

• Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.

• Scholarships are only available for new undergraduate Manchester Metropolitan University students, current students moving from one course to another are not eligible.

• Applicants must successfully meet any conditions set for entry onto the programme.
