Depending on the conditions and duration of the scholarship: $20,000, $25,000, $35,000 and $3,000
Goals
Excellence research scholarships for foreign students at the master’s, doctoral, postdoctoral and short-term research levels
Criteria

Must meet all eligibility requirements by the competition closing date;

Must have been preselected by a Quebec university establishment;
-
Not having already obtained a PBEEE scholarship;

Not be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;

Must not have applied for permanent residence under Canadian immigration laws;
-
Be a foreign student or be a foreign researcher in all fields of study (health, human and social sciences, arts and letters, natural sciences and engineering).

The excellence scholarship program for foreign students is divided into four parts:
Master’s Scholarships (VM),
Doctoral research scholarships (V1, 1B, 1I, 1IS, 1W),
Postdoctoral internship grants (V2, 2B, 2I),
Short-term research or training grants (V3, 3B, 3I, 3IS, 3W).
