This scholarship was established by Justin Chiu, who benefited from the Trent experience as an international student. Awarded to entering international students from Asia who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, community service, leadership potential, and some financial need. Scholarships partially fund the costs of Trent education in amounts between $3,000 and $15,000 per academic year. This scholarship is renewable between $12,000 – $60,000 over a 4-year degree.

You must be an international student paying international fees.

You must be studying in Canada on a study permit.

You must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University. Postgraduate certificates and graduate-level students are not eligible.

You must meet Trent University’s Admission requirements, including general and degree-specific requirements and the English Language Proficiency Requirements. (Please note that students do not need an admission offer to apply for the scholarships and awards).

You have a final high school average of 80% or more (Canadian Equivalent).
