Overview
Canada College is a private institution accredited by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and recognized as a technical college-level institution. The college was founded on the basic principles of academic excellence, student success and professional support. It is located in the heart of Montreal, and since its establishment in 1976, the college has supported students in their academic and professional journey.
The college offers around 12 programs characterized by significant theoretical and practical learning. The Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) programs at the college cover Business Administration and Commerce, Database Administration, Business Intelligence Analyst, Creation of Digital Content, Digital Marketing and Child Education Techniques.
All these courses are available in French and English and have compulsory internships in the program schedule. Canada College also offers diploma programs in two categories- Health, Assistance and Nursing, and Institutional and Home Care Assistance.
Over the course of its 40-year history, students from more than 160 countries have been a part of Canada College's history. The warm and welcoming environment at the college has been able to create a truly international community for all students.
Services
As the college is situated in Quebec, an international student needs the Quebec Acceptance Certificate, to receive the admission letter from the college. The faculty at the college provides outstanding technical and language skills, which the students can take anywhere in their professional working environment. The graduate employment rate of the college is around 90% within six months of graduation.
The college also has a dedicated Student Services department that ensures that students are supported in all that matters to them. Different activities are held to enhance the campus experience and student engagement. The internship department at the college helps students find the best opportunities to put their skills into practice.
Accommodation
Canada College doesn't have on-campus residence options for students, but as it is located in the heart of Montreal, off-campus accommodation is readily available. Students below the age of 19 are mandated to stay in Homestay accommodation.
