Overview
The Centre for Entertainment Arts (CEA) is an educational institution headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The institution that is dedicated to providing talented students and artists who are ready to work in the entertainment industry right after graduation was founded in 2019 with the vision to meet the needs of an ever-evolving industry.
As Vancouver is currently one of the world's biggest gaming and visual arts industry hubs, CEA has proudly partnered with other public educational institutions to equip students with critical skills and knowledge on the technical and professional fronts to enter the industry with confidence.
CEA specializes in education through a team of instructors and faculty with 500-plus years of combined industry experience in over 400 films, TV productions, and gaming industry credits, including the most prestigious productions. Around 95% of the students get hired into top studios after graduation. CEA offers a Foundation in Entertainment Arts Certificate, after which students can opt for specialized Diplomas in Advanced 3D Animation and Modelling, Advanced Game Development, and Advanced VFX and Virtual Production to hone their skills.
Vancouver has been considered the "Hollywood North" by industry experts for decades and has many renowned studios, which makes it the perfect place for entertainment industry graduates to get the job of their dreams. The campus location in Calgary is Bow Valley College, which has a state-of-the-art facility to train students according to the needs of Calgary's rapidly developing entertainment arts sector.
Services
Most students are naturally placed at prestigious production studios before graduating. The Student Work Initiative Program at CEA enables them to work in the industry while studying their programs. All the graduates are also eligible to apply for up to 3 years of Post Graduate Work Permit, which lets them be a part of the renowned studios and make their dreams come true.

Accommodation
It is suggested that all international students choose from the different homestay programs, rental accommodations, and other off-campus areas around the cities to arrange their housing needs. Students can take the help of resources on the Living in Metro Vancouver page by Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the Living in Calgary page of Bow Valley College to find the best options for staying in Canada while they pursue their higher education in the entertainment arts.
