Overview
Matrix College is a private career college located in Montreal, Quebec. Established in 2014, Matrix College offers specialized business, technology and engineering post-secondary programs.
Matrix College has Attestation of College Studies (AEC) programs that have been developed in cooperation with the labour market partners, which leads to a higher assurance that all graduates are equipped with the relevant skills to meet the needs of their current and future employers. The College offers language courses in English and French and has an extensive array of vendor-authorized IT training programs like SAP, VMware, and Cisco Certifications for the students.
The College is known for offering a unique blend of academic learning with practical skills training giving students an edge in today’s world. The faculty at the College is dedicated to delivering quality education with hands-on training to build the practical skills students need to be job-ready right after College. All courses have an official curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education, ensuring greater assurance among students.
Services
Matrix College has dedicated teams to provide support and assistance to international students. Study programs at the College have been designed with a global outlook, with a full range of training, career-focused education and applied research so that the students are prepared to succeed in the new knowledge economy.
Student Services Offices at the College organize activities and social events monthly apart from the Orientation and Welcome Week Programs. The College also has a Career Centre Services that helps students with part-time job search, CV/Cover Letter Workshops and job placements after graduation. This centre also takes care of the new student welcome party and holiday parties apart from the cultural celebrations and sports tournaments.
The Financial Aid team at the College can help with the application with the Quebec government for financial aid for the study terms. The Academic Advising team, which gives information regarding the program structure, schedule planning, course selection, registration, college policies, college procedures and graduation requirements, is also available.
Accommodation
Matrix College doesn’t provide on-campus residence options for students on the three campus locations in Montreal. As the college is situated in the heart of the cultural capital of Canada, there is various off-campus accommodation available for students who can take up shared rentals or apartments near the college. Homestay options can also be explored.
