Overview
Cleveland State University is a public research university that is located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1964 and is currently a part of the University Systems of Ohio. The university is a modern and innovative institution that offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees to more than 17,000 students. It provides 70 academic majors, around 27 master’s degrees, six doctoral degrees, and two law programs. The university also has research cooperation agreements with the NASA Glenn Research Center.
The university has an urban campus and exceptional faculty members and runs through a strong commitment to student success. It is also known for its strong emphasis on research, experiential learning opportunities, and community engagement that prepares students to work in the global workplace.
Services
The university has a Division of University Studies that focuses on providing academic support services. The Office of Career Development and Exploration empowers students to develop their strengths and unique talents before joining the job market. The university also has counselling services to take care of the mental health of students.
