The University of Bedfordshire has achieved a significant milestone, securing the top spot in the People & Planet University Green League 2024/25. This ranking recognises the University’s exceptional commitment to environmental sustainability and ethical responsibility, reflecting the collective efforts of students and staff.
Building on last year’s third-place finish, Bedfordshire’s sustainability success is attributed to a strong focus on energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and innovative campus-wide initiatives. In addition, the University has embedded sustainability into its curriculum, offering career-focused courses such as Sustainable Management and Environmental Management. The Students’ Union remains a key partner in these efforts, ensuring that student voices drive the University’s green agenda.
