The Visionary Women Award is for female students who have outstanding drive, talent, and vision. Visionary Women Scholars are characterized by their ambition, potential, and diversity of thought. These candidates challenge the status quo and bring a unique perspective to the table.
Scholarship amount
For the 2020-2021 intake, recipients of this scholarship receive $15,000 USD or £10,000 GBP each academic year. This translates to $60,000 USD or £40,000 GBP over 4 years or $45,000 USD, or £30,000 GBP over 3 years.
Students may only be awarded one of the three $15,000 awards available.
How to apply
To be considered for the Visionary Women Award, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or short 2-5 minute video. Your submission should illustrate your perspective on what makes someone a visionary leader by answering one of the following questions:
Explain a time where your contributions to a group or project clearly made the outcome more successful?
What are your career aspirations and how can studying at Hult help to propel your career goals?
In addition to evaluation by the Admissions Committee, the submissions for this scholarship will be assessed by a panel of female professors and school leadership.
Application deadline
Applications must be submitted by February 15, 2020. Candidates who have been awarded the scholarship will be notified by March 1, 2020. Apply here.
Receiving your scholarship
If you are awarded this scholarship and wish to receive it, you must confirm your place no later than May 1, 2020, otherwise your allocated funds may be released to other students. This scholarship will be renewed each year provided you are a full-time student, are not placed on academic probation, and have no honor code violations.
