Overview
The University of British Columbia (UBC) was founded in 1915 and is one of the leading educational institutes for research, learning, and teaching in Canada, consistently ranking in the top 10 public universities.
Over 50,000 students, and over 12,000 international students, are enrolled at its Okanagan and Vancouver campuses, studying over 250 undergraduate courses and 240 postgraduate courses. Services
In-person international student advice provides academic guidance and consultation to international students with any concerns. In addition, health services are offered to students who need assistance regarding health assessments and treatments.
Orientation programs allow the students to meet new students, professors and become familiar with their new university.

Accommodation
At the Okanagan UBC campus, students can choose from single-connected rooms, single traditional rooms, four-bedroom shared suites, studio suites, and one-bedroom suites. Besides these options, the Vancouver campus also offers nano and six-bedroom suites.
International students can choose accommodation options on campus and off campus. On-campus areas provide access to dining services, WIFI, safety and security, and mail services. They also get access to laundry, health services, and parking spaces in these locations.
