Master’s Scholarship for Current Students

If you achieve a first or upper second (2:1) Bachelor’s degree, you could get £3,000 off your postgraduate course tuition fee with our Master’s Scholarship.
You can also use this scholarship discount alongside the Government Postgraduate Loan scheme.
Eligibility
Courses starting in September 2023
To be considered for this Master’s Scholarship, you must:
- be classed as a UK fee paying student
- achieve a first or upper second (2:1) honours degree from Portsmouth
- accept an offer on a full-time or part-time MA, MSc, MPA, MRes or LLM course before Friday 30 June 2023, to commence September 2023
Availability
These Master’s Scholarships are limited. So we can’t guarantee you’ll get it if you’re eligible.
You’ll need to meet the specific entry criteria for the course you applied for. We give priority to students who show the highest academic achievement.
The University’s decision on the allocation of the Scholarship is in accordance with the terms and conditions and is final. There’s no appeals process.
Alternative discounts and scholarships
You can only get one University of Portsmouth discount or scholarship. For example, this Master’s Scholarship, or the alumni discount – not both.
Make sure you read and understand the scholarship terms and conditions before you accept, as an alternative University discount or scholarship may be more suitable for you.
