Overview
Camosun College is located in Victoria, British Columbia and today around 20,400 students study over 160 programmes that the College offers.
The College provides university transfer and applied degree programs; career and trades training; upgrading and preparatory programs; and professional studies and industry training. The main disciplines covered by these courses include arts, business, engineering, health and human services, indigenous education, technology, trades, sports and exercise education, and sciences.
More than 2,000 students from over 80 countries study at Camosun College. Each class comprises 20-25 students, and 500 faculty members are appointed to provide dedicated attention to every student.
92% of Camosun graduates are either employed or pursuing further studies (Student Outcomes), and 93% of students who go on to further studies say they were well-prepared thanks to the College.
Services
Apart from the library and IT services, the college also offers health and wellness counselling and services to the students, as well as:
- Career counselling to help them build rewarding careers.
- Counselling to resolve cultural, educational, and personal issues.
- Co-op and career services are provided to groom their networking and interview skills. Guest services, career fairs, and panel discussions are organised to motivate the students.
- Medical insurance and health care services are offered to the students during their college campus stay.

Accommodation
Camosun College does not provide dormitories or on-campus housing facilities to students. Therefore, students will need to stay in rented apartments, condos, or as a paying guest.
However, international students can stay in hostels that are offered at inexpensive rates. If the students need short-term accommodation, they can contact the residents who provide private rooms, rental rooms, or suites in their homes. They can also be accommodated in hotels that offer long or extended stay discounts.
