Overview
Wilson College is a private educational institution located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The Presbyterian-related college was founded in 1868, and for 144 years, it operated as a women's college. The college became co-educational in the academic year 2013-2014.
The college offers 34 undergraduate majors, 40 minors and master's degree programs. Some of the popular majors are in the fields of animal-based therapy, agriculture and agricultural sciences, biological sciences, veterinary health and nursing. There are pre-professional programs to prepare students for entrance to graduate programs in medicine, law, health sciences and veterinary medicine.
Services
Through the Office of Student Development, the college provides various services and activities that include wellness services and career counselling. The Academic Success Center provides materials to help students reach their academic goals, and the Career Development Center gives them career advice and internship and employment opportunities.
