Overview
University of Dayton is one of the Catholic research universities located in Dayton, Ohio. The private university was founded in 1850 by the Society of Mary (Marianists). The university is rooted in faith and dedicated to the common good, because of which it encourages students to develop a critical mind and compassionate heart while engaging with the world.
The university offers over 80 undergraduate programs, 50 master's degrees, 12 doctoral programs and various other licensure and certifications through the five academic units. These include the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Business Administration, School of Education and Health Sciences, and the School of Law.
Services
The University of Dayton provides various resources and services to students giving them a fulfilling experience. All students are assigned an academic adviser each who helps them in meeting their professional and personal goals. Career Services helps them in building confidence by providing various skills. The Health and Well-being of students are also taken care of by the Health Centre and the Counseling Centre. The Multi-Ethnic Education and Engagement Centre fosters an inclusive environment at the university.
