Overview
The University of the Pacific is a renowned private university with its main campus in Stockton, California. The Methodist-affiliated university also has graduate campuses in San Francisco and Sacramento. It was founded in 1851 and is known to have the first independent co-educational campus in California.
Through its ten schools and colleges, the university offers more than 80 undergraduate areas of study. There are more than 30 graduate and professional courses apart from 12 accelerated programs and a course for continuing education. The major fields of study offered at the university include business, engineering and computer science, health sciences, music, pharmacy, law, liberal arts and others.

Accommodation
The on-campus housing facilities are provided by all three campuses of the university. All undergraduate students are required to stay on campus for at least two years. The Stockton campus housing has several residence halls with single and double occupancy rooms with other major amenities needed by students during their university years.
