For over 30 years, the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) has been educating students across its Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses. UNDA offers a personalised, supportive academic experience where students can develop their skills in a vibrant learning environment while gaining hands-on experience through practical work placements.
Notre Dame is dedicated to preparing students for fulfilling careers by equipping them with transferable skills that are valuable across all industries, vocations, and professions. From day one, students engage in real-world learning through internships and volunteering programmes, which are embedded in every degree. 77.1% of Notre Dame’s undergraduates were employed full-time four to six months after finishing their studies, according to the results of the 2021 Graduate Outcomes Survey.
Depending on their previous qualifications and career goals, students can choose from undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher degree by research programmes offered across three faculties:
- Faculty of Arts, Sciences, Law, and Business
- Faculty of Education, Philosophy, and Theology
- Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Sciences

Services
Notre Dame provides a range of support services to help students achieve academic and personal success throughout their university journey. The Student Success team offers free academic support on topics such as referencing, academic integrity, time management, assignment writing, critical reading, note-taking, interpreting assessment feedback, and managing exam anxiety. This support is delivered through workshops and one-on-one appointments with a Learning Advisor.
International students can also take part in UNDA’s mentoring programmes, which pair them with experienced student mentors to help ease their transition to life in Australia. For those needing additional help with their English language skills, Notre Dame offers dedicated language support to assist with academic studies.
UNDA is also committed to the wellbeing, safety, and holistic support of its students, providing professional and confidential services tailored to individual needs.

Accommodation
The University of Notre Dame Australia offers a range of accommodation options for students at its campuses. The university's Fremantle and Sydney campuses offer on-campus accommodation for students in the form of residential colleges. These colleges provide students with a supportive living environment, including fully furnished single or shared rooms, meal plans, and access to study and social facilities. The Broome campus does not offer on-campus accommodation, but students can access off-campus accommodation options through the university's accommodation service.
