Overview
Humber Polytechnic was founded in 1967 and has been known for imparting Technology and Advanced Learning education since then. Humber has two main campuses, the Humber North campus and the Lakeshore campus, and students can choose to study over 220 full-time courses in visual arts, acting, finance, designing, media, animation, artificial intelligence, book publishing, culinary arts and many more.
Over the last 50 years, Humber Polytechnic has welcomed 6,000 international students from 130+ countries to pursue its full-time courses in bachelor's, diplomas, and postgraduate courses in three locations in Toronto.
Diploma and certificate programs are designed to give you a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience. Advanced diplomas take six semesters to complete and usually incorporate a work placement. Diplomas take at least four semesters, while certificates are generally three semesters.
Humber has the highest graduate employment rate (87%) in the Greater Toronto Area, per the Ontario KPI survey of 2019-2020.
Services
To support international students, Humber Polytechnic provides round-the-clock health services, campus security, an LGBTQ+ resource centre, music rights, availability to 50+ varsity sports teams, free fitness classes, personal training and more.
The school also assists international students with health insurance, academic support, managing their finances, permits and visas, and more.

International students are guaranteed accommodation at Humber Polytechnic. Off-campus housing facilities with Homestay services are also available.
