Overview
Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is a university-level education institution based across west and northwest Ireland in Letterkenny, Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Connemara, Mountbellew, and Galway City. ATU is the fourth technological university in the country, which was established after merging three of the best universities in Ireland that focus on imparting technological education.
Students can choose from a wide range of undergraduate courses and several postgraduate (Masters and/or PhD) courses. ATU provides students with a transformative university experience, empowering graduates to fully contribute to society's social, economic and cultural betterment when they study in Ireland.
The west and northwest of Ireland offer some of Ireland’s most striking and unique natural landscapes, and courses at ATU are internationally accredited and are available at all levels of study.
Services
Campus facilities at all ATU campus locations include cafes and restaurants, libraries, IT facilities, gyms, pitches, fitness centres, shops and banking. All ATU campuses have an active Students’ Union, which is instrumental in helping international students from around the world feel at home.

As the university is located in various regions of the country, students are provided housing in different settings. Most campuses have purpose-built student villages that offer high-quality living and broadband access with other services for comfortable living. A few campuses do not have these residential options.
