- Have the consent of your parent or guardian to study in the UK – you’ll need to prove this when you apply

You can apply for a short-term study visa to study the English language in the UK for courses lasting 6–11 months.
Graduate visa route for international students in the UK
The Graduate Route allows international graduates to stay in the UK for two years after completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and three years after completing a PhD. No job sponsorship is required to stay and work under this route, and graduates have the chance to switch to a Skilled Worker Visa if they receive a job offer from an approved UK employer.
Graduates on the Skilled Worker Visa may be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) after five years. ILR also allows graduates to apply for British citizenship.
