Offered to an outstanding student enrolled in a science program at the Faculty of Arts & Science on the basis of financial need. The total award value is $25,000 over four years of study, with $10,000 granted upon registration in first year and $5,000 awarded in the second, third and fourth years if the Terms and Conditions of the scholarship are met.
Terms & Conditions
This award is conditional on:

Completion of your secondary school program with high academic standing and fully satisfying the conditions of your offer of admission to the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto. The Faculty reserves the right to withdraw this award offer if these conditions are not satisfied.

Full-time registration as a student in the Faculty of Arts & Science, St. George campus; the award is not transferable to other campuses or faculties.

This award is renewable for three additional years at $5,000, provided that you continue to demonstrate financial need and maintain good academic standing and full-time registration in a science program in any of the following areas of study: Anthropology, Astronomy, Cell and Systems Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Statistics, Centre for Environment, Human Biology. The renewal will be based on your final grades and you will receive an email notifying you of your renewal eligibility in the following Summer term. Credits earned during Summer sessions and transfer credits are not considered.

Financial need is demonstrated through an approved application to a Canadian provincial financial aid program, for example, the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) or other provincial aid programs.
Award renewal is based on your academic performance and compliance with the Terms & Conditions outlined above following your first, second and third consecutive year of study in an Arts & Science degree program. The award may be withdrawn due to unsatisfactory academic performance.
Payment
Payment for admission awards is applied to your student account after your full-time registration and compliance with the above Terms and Conditions is confirmed, typically by mid-October. This scholarship is eligible for a tuition fee deferral (registration without payment) on the basis of Undergraduate Awards.
