Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship
The University of Suffolk Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship is a new and exciting scheme to reward exceptional international applicants who have a strong track record of academic achievement and show a commitment to having a transformative impact both during their studies and after graduation. This scheme is aimed at students intending to pursue one of our eligible professional health degrees.
We will be awarding fifty (50) Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarships of £4,000 value each in the 2025/26 academic year.

Undergraduate students will be awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship in each year of study (excluding sandwich/placement/study abroad years – see terms and conditions below)

This is not an automatic scholarship – eligible students will be invited to submit a scholarship application once an offer of admission has been made

Scholarships are awarded as fee discounts
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship (2025/6), applicants must:
- Have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a 360-credit undergraduate or 180-credit
postgraduate-taught programme delivered by the University of Suffolk at the Ipswich campus - Be studying on a full-time basis
- Have applied to commence studies in the 2025/6 academic year
- Be self-funding and classified as Overseas for fee purposes (international fees)
- Have applied for the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship (2025/6) prior to the
scholarship application deadline (see below) - Undergraduate applicants must be starting their studies in Year 1 (Level 4)
Eligible Courses
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Health Scholarship (2025/6), applicants must
hold an offer for one of the following programmes:
- BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing
- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography
- BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing
- BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy and Oncology
- MSc Adult Nursing (Pre-registration)
- MSc Diagnostic Radiography (Pre-registration)
Scholarship Application Deadlines
The deadline to apply for this scholarship will be 25 April 2025 (September 2025 starters) and 12
September 2025 (for January 2026 starters).
