Overview
Twin is an English language centre but now provides the NCUK International Foundation Year to international students.
The International Foundation Year (IFY) is a pre-university programme designed to prepare international students for entry into the first year of university. It helps you develop essential subject knowledge, study skills, and English language proficiency, offering access to thousands of degree courses at over 50 leading universities across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, and more.
Recognised worldwide and comparable to qualifications such as A-Levels, the IFY is ideal for international students aiming to build the skills needed for university success. Delivered through NCUK’s Global Network of Study Centres, the programme offers flexibility to start locally or abroad, giving you confidence and academic readiness.
You’ll study three academic modules along with English for Academic Purposes, choosing from subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science, and more. This allows you to tailor your learning and maximise your university progression opportunities, ensuring a smooth transition to undergraduate studies.
