Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship for Physics
Scholarships of £7,000 are available to new international students joining a postgraduate taught masters degree in the Department of Physics in the 2025/26 academic year.
All postgraduate taught masters offer holders in the Department of Physics who meet the eligibility criteria will receive the scholarship. No separate scholarship application is necessary.
Eligibility

The scholarships are available for eligible self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time taught masters degree in the Department of Physics at the University of Strathclyde’s campus in Glasgow, starting September 2025 only.

Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible for these scholarships.
Terms and conditions

The value of the Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship for Physics is £7,000 and will be deducted from your tuition fees.

This scholarship is worth £7,000 and will be awarded automatically on receipt of deposit payment until 31st August 2025. No application is necessary.

The scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points.

Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.

Students who do not meet the required criteria will automatically not be considered.

The Faculty of Science’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Appeals will not be considered.
